INTRODUCTION

This on line document about Jesus includes material drawn from the New Testament Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The text is from The Living Bible paraphrased by Dr Kenneth N. Taylor and published by Tyndale House Publishers Inc., Wheaton, Illinois 60189, by whose kind permission it is reproduced here.
The aim of this publication is to allow the material of the four Gospels to speak for itself and, by means of contemporary editorial insights, to rearrange the texts, so that a reader will have easier access to the message of Jesus in a clearly presented and unfolding form.
The central direction behind the whole work is the instruction or command of God the Father, on the Mount of Transfiguration: “This is my Son, my Chosen One. This is my beloved Son and I am wonderfully pleased with Him”.

Jesus said, “Obey the Father in Heaven, for this is the decisive question!”(Matthew 7:21). “Anyone who doesn’t obey Jesus doesn’t love Jesus”. (John 14:22-24)
